The problem is that most people who read it _don't_ know all of that.
What good does our knowing it is hooey do?  Most here already own a 3DO,
and the only effect the article might have on us (if it were in any way
based on fact) is a wounded pride.  Many people have heard that this is
the 'voice of the internet' or some such crap.  And if by chance one of
these readers happens to be looking for a new gaming console, and reads
that load...most likely 3DO won't be seeing his/her money.
